Deloraine High School is located in the historic town of Deloraine in Tasmania’s Meander Valley, in the state’s north. We provide education for students from Years 7 to 12, supporting young people as they develop the skills, confidence and resilience needed to thrive in a changing world.
Guided by our vision to “Strive to Excel”, we aim to develop successful, skilled learners who are motivated to achieve their personal best. We place a strong emphasis on literacy, numeracy, positive behaviour and student wellbeing, creating a safe, respectful and inclusive learning environment built on strong relationships.
We offer a broad, diverse curriculum taught by highly qualified and dedicated staff, with opportunities across academic, cultural, sporting and vocational pathways. Our specialised facilities, including our Trade Training Centre, allow students to engage in hands-on learning and gain practical skills that support future education, training and employment.
We value our close partnerships with families and the wider community, believing collaboration strengthens learning outcomes for all students. By combining quality teaching, high expectations and meaningful opportunities, we are committed to preparing young people to succeed beyond school and contribute positively to their communities.
NOTE: Deloraine High School offers Cert II Community Services, Cert II Tourism and Cert I Workplace Skills via VLT@Tasmanian eSchool. Contact Deloraine High School for more information.
