Schools will be required to implement the updated Procedure from the beginning of Term 2, 2024. When Principals review a request like this, there are things they must consider. If they approve the request, Principals will contact the family and the External Support Provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Where an External Support Provider is delivering support and services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), the <a href=\"https:\/\/documentcentre.education.tas.gov.au\/_layouts\/15\/DocIdRedir.aspx?ID=TASED-1060461114-3772\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NDIS Providers in Schools Policy and Procedure (356 KB)<\/a> should be followed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further information about providing NDIS services in schools can be found here: <a href=\"https:\/\/decyp.dev.ionata.com\/ja\/learning\/for-schools-and-educators\/providing-ndis-services-at-school\/\">Providing NDIS services at school<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are important steps to take before an External Support Provider can deliver direct one-on-one services to students at school sites.
