{"id":3810,"date":"2018-05-03T09:54:35","date_gmt":"2018-05-02T23:54:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.decyp.tas.gov.au\/?page_id=3810"},"modified":"2023-09-21T15:24:18","modified_gmt":"2023-09-21T05:24:18","slug":"quality-learning-for-all","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/decyp.dev.ionata.com\/ko\/learning\/supporting-student-need\/quality-learning-for-all\/","title":{"rendered":"Quality Learning for All"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"child-and-family-learning-centres-and-launching-into-learning\">Child and Family Learning Centres and Launching into Learning<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage families to contact their local school and connect with the <em>Child and Family Learning Centre <\/em>and <em>Launching into Learning <\/em>programs, before their child starts school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Child and Family Learning Centres<\/em> and schools can help families with a range of services for their children.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"school-support\">School Support<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every school has a support teacher to help families access services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Services include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>social workers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>school psychologists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>speech and language pathologists<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>other consultants for autism, physical access, and other needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"quality-differentiated-teaching-practice\">Quality Differentiated Teaching Practice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Every child has the right to quality learning opportunities. Information and resources from the Australian Curriculum are adjusted to help learners succeed at their level and pace. This is called Quality Differentiated Teaching Practice. Teachers differentiate by <a>making adjustments to<\/a> content, teaching style and environment. Differentiation helps all learners to achieve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our <a href=\"http:\/\/publicdocumentcentre.education.tas.gov.au\/_layouts\/DocIdRedir.aspx?ID=TASED-4-4778\">Good Teaching, Differentiated Classroom Practice for All (PDF 4MB)<\/a> provides more information about quality teaching practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teachers make adjustments to learning opportunities at four different levels:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quality Differentiated Teaching Practice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supplementary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Substantial<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extensive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Adjustments are described on the <a href=\"http:\/\/schooldisabilitydatapl.edu.au\/\">Nationally Consistent Collection of Data<\/a>&nbsp;website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"learning-plans\">Learning Plans<ins><\/ins><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Teachers work with students, families, and specialist staff to write and review a student\u2019s Learning Plan. Teachers use Learning Plans to personalise learning and note adjustments made for a student.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To find out more about Learning Plans, refer to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/documentcentre.education.tas.gov.au\/Documents\/Learning-Plan-Procedure.pdf\">Learning Plan Procedure.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"inclusive-practice\">Inclusive Practice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Teachers work with families, students and specialist staff to consider a student\u2019s strengths, goals, and needs to personalise their learning.
