Sport Promotion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Do you have a sporting experience that you want to promote to our students in Tasmania?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Community Sports Liaison team is passionate about growing participation in sport and physical activity for children and young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team can help with promoting your organisation\u2019s sporting activities to schools. If you would like to submit an event or sports opportunity that is available for our schools and students, please email the details to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upcoming sporting events<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Check out the calendar upcoming sporting events for what sporting opportunities are happening that are open to children and young people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements external providers must comply with<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Externally provided sports programs and activities on a DECYP site during school hours is managed at the individual school level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

External providers personnel must complete DECYP\u2019s Safeguarding training before delivery of sports activity in schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All external personnel must provide the school with their current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People prior to the delivery of the sports activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
