It provides best-practice guidance for governments, individuals, organisations, and communities on how to communicate safely about mental health and suicide.<br><br>Signing the Charter serves as a formal commitment to use safe and consistent communication about mental health and wellbeing, mental health concerns, and suicide. It is an agreement to put the <a href=\"https:\/\/aus01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Flifeinmind.org.au%2Fthe-charter%2Fprinciples&amp;data=05%7C02%7CPLI%40decyp.tas.gov.au%7C1a8a8569b7ea479452a708df0e313bb5%7Ca9be3ac70c60491e8b3ba32f8f46aec8%7C0%7C0%7C639245276881565938%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=YyUy2uA1u4xlKKVkX5K%2F%2Fgia39D5uBgHvNXgMqp3DEE%3D&amp;reserved=0\">guiding principles<\/a> into practice to reduce stigma, minimise harm, and promote help-seeking and help offering.
