Situated in a bushland setting beside the Don River in Devonport, Don College is Tasmania’s north-west senior secondary school for students in Years 11 and 12. The college serves as a shared learning hub for young people from local high schools across the region.

Our unique natural environment, bordering the Don River Reserve and close to Bass Strait, plays an important role in shaping our school culture and student wellbeing. We provide a friendly, respectful and engaging learning environment, where students build strong relationships, develop independence and form lifelong connections as they prepare for future pathways.

We offer a wide and diverse range of learning opportunities, with nearly 120 subjects available, including TASC, Vocational Education and Training (VET) and University of Tasmania connections programs. Learning is personalised and future-focused, supported by specialist teachers who work closely with students to build aspirations, engagement and lifelong learning skills.

Don College is a gathering point for senior secondary students, where collaboration, mutual support and shared success are valued. Through strong relationships, meaningful learning experiences and diverse academic and vocational pathways, we aim to equip students with the confidence, skills and direction needed for further education, training or employment beyond school.
