Located in the coastal town of Wynyard, Wynyard High School is a government secondary school providing education for students from Years 7 to 12. Serving both town and surrounding rural communities, the school plays an important role in supporting young people across the Waratah–Wynyard region.

The school is guided by a clear vision to strive for personal best, show respect for self and others, and remain actively connected to the community. Learning programs are underpinned by the values of Aspiration, Courage, Growth and Respect, promoting a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where every student has a voice and is encouraged to achieve excellence.
