Teachers are one of the biggest influencers of student success; therefore quality teaching practices are critical to improving student learning and education outcomes in Tasmania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We know we need to work collaboratively to attract people with the right capabilities to Tasmania\u2019s education system, to prepare students to become teachers, and provide our current teachers with opportunities to enhance their careers and adopt skills to respond to challenges and needs of a rapidly changing society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Members of the Education Workforce Roundtable:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Australian Education Union<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Peter Underwood Centre<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tasmanian Government<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tasmanian Principals Association<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Teachers Registration Board Tasmania <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Tasmania<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-is-the-roundtable\">What is the Roundtable?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Education Workforce Roundtable is a group of expert education leaders brought together in April 2018 by the Education Minister to advise and work closely with the Department to build a future ready education workforce.
