Eligible students can apply for an advertised permanent graduate position with DECYP and the scholarship at the same time. Visit&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.decyp.tas.gov.au\/decyp-speech-pathology-scholarship\">DECYP speech pathology scholarship<\/a>&nbsp;or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.decyp.tas.gov.au\/about-us\/employment\/decyp-school-psychology-scholarship\/\">DECYP school psychology scholarship<\/a> to find out more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From 1 July 2025, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.education.gov.au\/commonwealth-prac-payment-cpp\">Commonwealth Prac Payment<\/a> will provide eligible domestic social work students with a weekly payment during mandatory placements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your university may provide support for interstate, rural or remote placements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/nafea.org.au\/scholarships\/\">NAFEA Equity Rural Placement Scholarship Program<\/a> offers scholarships to assist students experiencing financial hardship to undertake placements\/work integrated learning activities in rural and remote settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The University of Tasmania offers free accommodation and extra support for interstate students undertaking placements in rural areas (subject to availability). These positions are not advertised in the same way as other positions and are subject to availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can submit an application for an Allied Health Professional in Training position to the <a href=\"https:\/\/careers.pageuppeople.com\/759\/cw\/en\/job\/7009925\">Employment Register<\/a> where you will find a Statement of Duties with details about the criteria and requirements of the role. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please be aware that applying to the register doesn\u2019t guarantee we can offer you a position.
