Our new website, Tell Someone<\/a>, has been launched to provide the community with information about the signs of sexual abuse and grooming, keeping children safe and who to contact if you need help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information available on the website is tailored to parents, community members, and children.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\t<\/a>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Tell Someone website was developed in consultation with children and young people, victim-survivors and child safety and abuse prevention professionals.

A multimedia campaign will be rolled out over coming months to complement the launch of the Tell Someone website, with a strong focus on raising awareness of the signs of child sexual abuse and grooming, and what to do if you see something that doesn\u2019t seem right.

The campaign aligns with a recommendation from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse to develop campaigns to raise community awareness of child sexual abuse and provide information and help-seeking services. It also seeks to respond to the Independent Inquiry into the former Department of Education\u2019s Responses to Child Sexual Abuse recommendation to focus on child sexual abuse prevention strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kids Helpline is supporting the website as a contact point for children and young people with concerns. The campaign will also direct adults to the Strong Families Safe Kids Advice and Referral Line to report concerns for the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
