The idea is to learn and celebrate!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Aboriginal Education Services we encourage you to teach, learn and celebrate <strong>all year round. <\/strong>Here are a few suggestions to get you started:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access education materials from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.naidoc.org.au\/resources\/educational\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NAIDOC web site<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.naidoc.org.au\/2023-poster\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NAIDOC Week poster for printing<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, and most importantly, remember that your focus needs to be on the Tasmanian Aboriginal community. What can you do to celebrate them?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"questions-to-explore\">Questions to explore<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What significant contributions have Tasmanian Aboriginal people made and continue to make?&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander contributions acknowledged and celebrated?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-orb-website\">The Orb website<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theorb.tas.gov.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Orb<\/a> is a collection of online resources that assists the teaching of Tasmanian Aboriginal histories and cultures.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"the-aboriginal-education-services-library\">The Aboriginal Education Services Library<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The library has Aboriginal resources including picture books, puzzles, readers, fiction, true stories, DVDs and more.
