Kings Meadows High School is a government secondary school located in the suburb of Kings Meadows in the city of Launceston, northern Tasmania. We provide education for students from Years 7 to 12, supporting a diverse student population within a strong and connected school community.

Respectful relationships underpin our positive and inclusive school culture. We are committed to empowering students to be aspirational, resilient and lifelong learners, and we encourage them to think critically, communicate effectively and act with integrity. Our values of Connection, Courage, Growth, Respect and Responsibility guide our expectations and shape how we learn and work together.

We offer a broad and varied curriculum designed to challenge and engage students, with opportunities across academic, vocational and enrichment pathways. Alongside core learning, students are encouraged to take part in extracurricular activities and leadership opportunities that support personal growth and wellbeing.

We maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour and effort, and work closely with families and the wider community to support student success. Through quality teaching, positive relationships and meaningful learning experiences, we aim to prepare students to contribute confidently and positively beyond school.
