We aim to ensure that learners are safe, feel supported and are able to flourish so they can engage in learning. School satisfaction data was collected from parents and staff in all Tasmanian government schools. 2019 was the final year of student satisfaction recording due to the introduction of the student wellbeing measurement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The table below shows most recent annual data on the satisfaction levels of parents and staff. Satisfaction levels are determined based on respondents who agreed or strongly agreed, as a proportion of all those who expressed agreement or disagreement, averaged across the nationally agreed question set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"school-satisfaction-survey-results-2022\">School Satisfaction Survey results (2022)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><thead><tr><th><\/th><th class=\"has-text-align-right\" data-align=\"right\">% of respondents agreed or strongly agreed<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Parents<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-right\" data-align=\"right\">86<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Staff<\/td><td class=\"has-text-align-right\" data-align=\"right\">90<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/documentcentre.education.tas.gov.au\/_layouts\/15\/DocIdRedir.aspx?ID=TASED-1087178304-5704\">I801 \u2013 Satisfaction Levels (Excel, 25KB)<\/a> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>National questions include 12-16 items, inclusive of multiple aspects of school satisfaction. This measure replaces previous measures based on a single question, to increase validity and reliability of data in monitoring satisfaction over time.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"2022-student-wellbeing-and-engagement-survey-swes\">2022&nbsp;Student Wellbeing and Engagement Survey (SWES)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"block-emphasis\">\n\t<div class=\"block-emphasis__inner\">\n        <div class=\"acf-innerblocks-container\">\n\n<p>The&nbsp;2022&nbsp;SWES was facilitated by our Child and Student Wellbeing unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It took place in Term 3,&nbsp;2022. 28,527&nbsp;students took part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/decyp.dev.ionata.com\/vi\/wellbeing\/student-wellbeing-and-engagement-survey\/\">Find out more about SWES<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, the state-level data (responses across all schools\/year levels) indicates that results remain fairly stable with previous years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The survey provides useful data on the wellbeing of our students. class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">Wellbeing for Learning \u2013 Child and Student Wellbeing Strategy<\/h3><div id=\"ac-278602\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/publicdocumentcentre.education.tas.gov.au\/library\/Shared%20Documents\/Child-and-Student-Wellbeing-Strategy.pdf\">Child and Student Wellbeing Strategy<\/a>&nbsp;commits to the development of valid and reliable measures of child and student wellbeing.
