providers are now required to complete a new online registration process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This applies to volunteers, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, NDIS providers, external service providers, external support providers, Chaplains and Student Wellbeing Oficers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will find all the information and instructions to help you register here<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h2 id=\"at-517520\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">Register Now &#8211; new registration process to volunteer or work with DECYP<\/h2><div id=\"ac-517520\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are a volunteer, contractor, sub-contractor or other service provider you are now required to register your details and complete mandatory safeguarding checks through a new online process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The registration process includes completion of mandatory safeguarding checks, including&nbsp; safeguarding training.&nbsp; This new safeguarding training will replace your previous safeguarding training certificate.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h2 id=\"at-517521\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">Who needs to register?<\/h2><div id=\"ac-517521\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You now need to register if you are engaged with DECYP as a:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Volunteer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contractor\/sub-contractor\/consultant<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>External Service Provider<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NDIS Provider (Registered or Non-Registered)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>External Support Provider<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chaplain or Student Wellbeing Officer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h2 id=\"at-517522\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">Why have we introduced this new process<\/h2><div id=\"ac-517522\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DECYP is committed to being a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oir.tas.gov.au\/child-and-youth-safe-standards\">child safe organisation<\/a>, and to ensuring that all Tasmanian children and young people are safe, secure and supported.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This means that we need to know the people who are working with and around children and young people, and ensure they have the relevant clearances and training.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h2 id=\"at-517523\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">What does registration involve?<\/h2><div id=\"ac-517523\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The registration process is straightforward and will not take too much time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The registration process includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Validation of your Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP) number<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Completing annual Safeguarding Training (watching and acknowledging a 13-minute video)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acknowledging the DECYP Conduct and Behaviour Policy and Standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are a contractor or other service provider you will need to provide other information about your organisation\/business.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-pb-accordion-item c-accordion__item js-accordion-item no-js\" data-initially-open=\"false\" data-click-to-close=\"true\" data-auto-close=\"true\" data-scroll=\"false\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\"><h2 id=\"at-517524\" class=\"c-accordion__title js-accordion-controller\" role=\"button\">What is the benefit for me?<\/h2><div id=\"ac-517524\" class=\"c-accordion__content\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only one registration across DECYP: If you work or volunteer at multiple DECYP sites, or in multiple roles, you will only need to provide your information once to be cleared to work anywhere in DECYP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Less administration: Your Registration remains valid for 12 months, reducing the need for you to provide evidence of your training or other clearances throughout the year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Helpful reminders: You will receive a notification before your registration expires.&nbsp; If you are continuing to volunteer or provide services to DECYP, you will be prompted to renew your registration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"block-feature\">\n\t<div
