{"id":28084,"date":"2023-05-24T09:29:33","date_gmt":"2023-05-23T23:29:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.decyp.tas.gov.au\/?p=28084"},"modified":"2023-09-04T18:20:35","modified_gmt":"2023-09-04T08:20:35","slug":"dont-cross-the-line-campaign-continues","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/decyp.dev.ionata.com\/zh\/2023\/05\/dont-cross-the-line-campaign-continues\/","title":{"rendered":"Don&#8217;t cross the line campaign continues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Did you know that principals, teachers and school staff are more likely to experience offensive behaviour at work than the general population?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Encouraging respectful behaviour in school settings is an action the Department for Education, Children and Young People takes very seriously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In September 2021, the Department launched a campaign to encourage adults to think about how they interact with school staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The key message of the campaign is that <em>disrespecting school staff is crossing the line\u2026 simple as that.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign has seen success so far and will continue to run into the future. As such, another round of advertising will take place over the remainder of Term 2, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keep your ears and eyes open for TV commercials, radio ads and online ads that share the important message that disrespecting school staff is crossing the line. This round of advertising will target disrespectful online behaviour towards staff via social media, direct messaging and email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adults\u2019 behaviour in and around schools impacts everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>School staff want to work in partnership with parents, carers and other adults to make sure our learners get the best education possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Help us to eliminate offensive behaviour towards school staff and create safe, respectful and positive environments in Tasmanian schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Think twice and don\u2019t cross the line!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"ratio ratio-16x9\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Respectful Schools -
