Teacher Intern Placement Program

What our interns say

“The TIPP allows you to experience what life is like in a school, learn the processes, who to ask, and where to find things. You get the amazing benefit of being able to immediately put into practice what you learn during your degree.”
Sam Bannister, Intern – Ogilvie High School

“The main benefit of the TIPP program is the ability to be supported through a technical first year of teaching. Although it is not your own class, you are still teaching, working collaboratively and really pushing yourself during this period.”

Adrian DeHaan, Intern – Exeter Primary School

“The biggest benefit is the hands-on experience. No other program provides you with a year of teaching experience in such a supportive format.”

Liam Rudolf, Intern – Sorell School

“The classroom experience you gain from spending a whole year in a school makes you feel so much more prepared for your first year as a teacher. The confidence that you gain from TIPP is invaluable.”

April Bishop, Intern – Andrews Creek Primary School
