Situated in the heart of Hobart, Elizabeth College provides a vibrant senior secondary learning environment focused on choice, opportunity and student success. As a government college for students in Years 11 and 12, Elizabeth College supports a large and diverse learning community drawn from across southern Tasmania, regional areas and international contexts.

The college offers an extensive curriculum of over 100 courses, including TASC-accredited subjects at Levels 1–4, Vocational Education and Training (VET) certificates, school-based apprenticeships and flexible pathway programs. Learning areas span English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, Performing and Visual Arts, Technologies, Languages, Health and Physical Education, allowing students to tailor programs to their interests and goals.

Elizabeth College places strong emphasis on wellbeing for learning, supported by a comprehensive Student Services team, academic coaching, counselling and careers guidance. Students work towards the Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE), with pathways designed for university, training, employment or combined futures.

Strong partnerships with the University of Tasmania, industry and community organisations, alongside enrichment opportunities such as college musicals, ensembles, leadership programs and international education, ensure students are well prepared to pursue their aspirations with confidence.
