The muylatina Child and Family Learning Centre will be constructed on the East Tamar Primary School site, providing critical services for children and families in the East Tamar area and surrounds.
The new Child and Family Learning Centre will offer a variety of services to support you, all in one place. It is somewhere you and your child can make friends and they can learn as they play. It’s a welcoming place where you can get advice on health and family matters, education and training. For families and young children, its a friendly and caring environment that supports you with health and wellbeing services for children from birth to age 5.

The initial phase of community engagement provides opportunity for parents and carers, service providers and the broader community to provide input to help shape the facilities and services the new East Tamar Child and Family Learning Centre will provide to local families.
Phase 1 of community engagement was completed in the second half of 2019. Click here to view the Community Engagement Phase 1 Outcomes Report.
Local Enabling Group
A Local Enabling Group (LEG) has being established in East Tamar to contribute and consider ideas for the development of the CFLC. The LEG has representation from key local leaders, service providers and community members representing a broad cross section of the community.
If you would like to become a member of the LEG or be kept informed about LEG meetings, please email EYPP@decyp.tas.gov.au
